What happens when one part of a Nissan Murano breaks?
When one part breaks, begins domino effect. This vehicle has amazing interior space which was the selling point. Unfortunately in a 2 month span it’s fallen apart. The thermostat, radiator, ac compressor, serpentine belt, alternator, driver seat motor, rear door hydraulics, and driver window regulator have all gone bad.
What kind of transmission does a Nissan Murano have?
Both my sister-in-law and brother-in-law have Muranos. They had said how great it was. I just purchased an 06 Murano and they were right. I love it. I particularly like the CVT transmission. No matter how hard you hit the gas, you do not feel it shift at all. The V6 is very powerful and the right size for this vehicle.
Is the Nissan Murano good in the Sun?
The tinted windows are great in the strong sun in Colorado. The AWD was necessary for several snow storms this winter and got us through two of the worst storms we’ve had in years.

Nissan added the Murano crossover sport utility vehicle to its lineup in the 2003 model year. Specifically designed and engineered for the U.S. market, the Murano “gets away from the slab-sided design that’s so common,” said Bill Kirrane, former Nissan Division general manager.
