Want to build an XV750 Café Racer but it all looks to hard? Well we have made it easy as pie for you, with a bunch of bolt on parts. Have you seen those steel Benelli Mojave tanks from India on ebay? We purchased 4 of them and they are very poor quality, rusty inside and out and peppered with small pin holes, the worst one had 21 leaks in to fix.
How tall are the wheels on a Yamaha Virago?
130/90-16 rear tires. ’84 on up 700’s ,750’s, 1000’s and 1100’s have: 19 inch front wheels and 15 inch rear wheels, and 140/90-15 rear tires. What do these numbers mean? For a 100/90-19 tire we can read: 19inch wheel, 100mm wide, and 90% of the width in height, or roughly 90mm tall (from the rim to the highest part of the tread).

These are designed to go on to the Yamaha XV750/920/1000 from 81-83 (with our fitting kit $30). This tank can be mounted to almost any bike. All mounting points and fuel tap fixing points have molded in brass inserts. This tank was CAD designed and tooling CNC machined to achieve the highest quality.
Can a virago tire be mounted on spoked wheels?
Virago tires are tubeless with the exception of those used on spoked wheels. In my view, it is best to mount the sizes specified. In my opinion, going one oversize on the front slows down steering and degrades handling.
How does a Yamaha XV750 Virago 750 stop?
Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a coil spring, hydraulically-damped telescopic while the rear was equipped with a twin shock absorbers with concentric coil springs. The XV750 Virago was fitted with a 3.83 Gallon (14.50 Liters) fuel tank.
