Where is the USB port on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
I’ve had my Grand Cherokee for 2 years and have always played music from a USB card in the USB port located between the dash and the gear shift. It stopped working today and just shows CONNECT DEVICE when I press USB.

Annoyed that I couldn’t reboot my 2014 GC Ltd radio (4AN), I went back to my GC with Jeep Garage on my I Pad in hand and re read soft reboot. Before I did anything, I again tried playing my I Phone 6S through the USB port and it worked perfectly !

Coincidently, I’m having the exact problem with my heretofore problem free 2014 GC Ltd. like yours I plug in the USB cord from my I Phone into the USB port, and what previously worked before, does not work and charges only. The dealer said to use the AUX port instead ! ( then, why did it work previously ?)
