Are there front brake rotors on a Honda Odyssey?
Apparently there’s a Honda Parts Information Bulletin “New Front Brake Rotor 2011-14 Odyssey” that basically says Honda put on a crappy part on the Odyssey….at least that’s the way I like to read it.

I went for oil change to a local shop and was told the brake pads need to be replaced (4 inches and 6 inches left front and back) along with rotors. I am little surprised I have to replace rotors as well when changing pads.

You can resurface them IF they rotors are still within tolerance. It would be the techs call. Their are other thing to look at also like rust and excessive wear, uneven wear and warping etc which you will see when machining the rotors and you will have to cut more off.

Is there a recall on Honda Odyssey brakes?
There should be a recall for those rotors, it is INSANE TO RESURFACE ROTORS with EVERY BRAKE PAD CHANGE. There should be a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT to get HONDA responsible for LOUSY BRAKES AND ROTORS. Just brought my Odyssey in to Honda service center because of vibration when braking. This van only has 20,000 miles on it.
