Why is the fuel cap locked on my Renault Captur?
No real answer, I would try your reserve key card with a new battery number CR2032. Hi, my wife went to fill up with Diesel and the fuel filler cap will not open. So frustrating! We’ve tried everything, locking and unlocking continuously, keycard in ignition or in pocket, nothing has worked… Any help would be appreciated.

Where is the fuel cap on a Renault Scenic?
Is there any way you can get your hand inside the trim in the boot / rear compartment. One of the inspection hatches to reach the mechanism near the fuel cap. On my Scenic the solenoid seems to operate ok but the whole mechanism is loose inside the bodywork so it doesn’t unlock properly. I can reach it by hand easily and slide it open.

Why does my Renault fuel tank not open?
It locks and unlocks with the sentral locking system. Im sure i can hear the lock actuator move when I lock and unlock the doors but the tank cover remains locked. there is supposedly a emergency opener inside the vehicle. A wire or string one can pull to unlock the cover.
