Why is the connector on my alternator not working?
I have to double check, but I think it was a connector to my alternator. The connector still slides on, it just doesn’t click and lock in anymore. It might be ok, but then again it might slowly slide off over time, dunno.

What to do if your alt plug is broken?
The only ‘Fix’ that I have seen on the Alt Plug.. is to use a ‘Dollop’ of Silicone Seal on the OUTSIDE of the plug, between the Plug and the Alternator.. This is a Temp Fix, and needs to be Large Enough to be Removed for the Next ‘Gluing’..

The first thing you want to do is remove the pink/purple clip inside of the harness. It slides out very easily, so use very little pressure. It also helps to place some newspaper under whatever connector you’re working on, so you don’t drop these little pieces into the engine bay.
