Why is the 4WD warning light not working on my Nissan Pathfinder?
Anyway, since then the 4WD warning light stays on and the 4×4 does not engage. There were a broken sensor on the gearbox that was replaced but nothing changed. The car was at Imperial Nissan for two days and they cannot give me an answer. They say that all the electrics work perfectly and that the fault probably lies within the transfer box.
How many computers does a pathfinder 4WD have?
The Pathy has 3 computers. The ecu for engine . The bcm or body control module that does the yaw and pitch sensors , lights, 4wd etc. This one works with abs module for traction control and abs. The cheap and cheerful obd’s only reads selected engine functions. The guys with the expensive readers reads body codes .
Is the Pathfinder 4WD light or limp mode?
So far the throttle response feels smoother, previously the throttle was extremely sensitive and gear changes (especially between 1 and 2 ) was a bit on the jerky side. Will get it tested with the proper software again asap. Only time will tell if the 4wd error has been resolved. Will keep you guys updated.
