Why is one side of my AC hot and the other cold?
Blend door actuators are the most common reason for the car air conditioning to blow cold air on one side and hot air on the other. They can be diagnosed with an advanced scan tool. If it does not move with the adjustments and commands, there is a problem with the blend door actuator and it will need to be replaced.
Why does my house AC go from cold to hot?
#1: Low refrigerant (refrigerant leak) Refrigerant absorbs the heat from your indoor air and carries it to your outdoor unit to be released outside. If you have low refrigerant (almost always caused by a leak in the refrigerant lines or coils), it could cause your AC to blow warm air.
Why does my a / C vents blow cold but warm drivers?
It will not be apparent if just looking at freon gauge pressures- they will be normal. But a system that is 1/2 pound low will cause the passenger side vents to blow cool or cold air, and the drivers side to be less cool or even warm on this car. There is simply not enough freon capacity in the system to cool the air to the drivers side.
When does the a / C blow cold then hot?
The A/C blows cold for about 10 minutes after I start running it, then it goes hot. I already replaced the cycling switch, and topped off the freon. After I turn the ac off for a while then turn it back on and it blows cold again for a while then hot.
What does it mean when AC blows hot air on one side?
AC Blows Hot or Cold Air on One Side with Clicking Sound. If you experience the symptom of the AC blowing hot or cold air on one side but not the other and it’s accompanied by a clicking or ticking sound, it probably means a gear in the temperature blend door actuator is faulty and the actuator needs to be replaced.
Why are the vents on the passenger side warm?
Repairs for this problem = A/C compressor, orifice tube and drier replaced about 1 year ago. The problem I have is that when you turn the ac on the cool air only comes out the 2 vents on the passenger side. The 2 vents on the drivers side have warm air blowing out. A/C is controls are set to max air and max cold on the temp control.
