Why is my PSM fail warning light not working?
Searched the web, the brake switch seems to be the common cause. Its still under warranty so am taking to my local OPC tomorrow. I had the same thing happen on my 2012 981 last year. Luckily it was under warranty and the OPC fixed it for what should have been a bill for around £400. And yes, it was the pedal bush failure.

Afaird to go to the dealer in… Probably a bad sensor. Take it somewhere that can read the fault codes for you (Autozone will usually do it for free). 2003 Boxster. PSM and ABS dash light stay ON

What to do when ABS and PSM fail?

What causes a weak signal on a PSM?
A weak signal can be caused by a too high resistance in the wiring/connectors, etc. due to corrosion and can be temperature related. Best to get the fault codes – but many strange electrical things happen with a bad battery or charging problem.
