Take the battery to an auto parts store and have them test it. If the battery fails their test, replace the battery. Next, check the main fuse, usually on the same cable as the positive battery connector. Then check the fuses in fuse box, doing as with the main fuse if any are blown.

How do you change the power switch on a Harley Davidson?
Remove the 2 screws holding the panel in place. The panel will come loose. Manuver the panel so you can release the 2 wire connectors from the panel. I am not sure what the right side wires are for, the just sit in the holder connected to nothing. The left side is the wiring for the passing lamps.
