Why does the remote start on my Jeep not work?
Click to expand… It does start, but then shuts off within a second, so I can rule out the battery, I have had plenty of fuel, not sure about a hood switch, but this is very intermittent, and it is not throwing any codes. My guess is a software glitch.

Lately with the extreme cold weather Jeep won’t start on remote start. Push the button twice, lights blink like it got the signal but no start. Could it be that the time lag for the “glow plugs” to heat enough is timing out the remote start?

I found that by opening my door, hitting the start button (no foot on brake) a few times to cycle thru acc, and run …. to totally off.
