Why does the Heat Blow when the car is not moving?
Heat is blowing when the… Heat is blowing when the car is moving, but blows cold air when it’s not. Temp gauge looks normal, and heat blows when car is moving. Coolant level is good. Looking for the thermostat I found a weird piece on top of engine called a coolant outlet housing, has a bleeder valve on top.
How does the air heater in a car work?
Air-cooled cars. If necessary, the air may be warmed further by an electrically ignited petrol-burning heat exchanger. The heat exchanger also allows the heater to work with the engine off -unlike a water-heated type. The rest of the system, the way in which the heat is distributed, is like that of any other car.
Why does my car heater get hotter when I drive?
When your vehicle is in motion and driving down the road, then engine coolant temperature tends to get hotter on the engine before it gets to the radiator, so the heater will naturally heat up more when driving around.
