Why does my Nissan Patrol Flasher not work?

If the hazard lights are working it can’t be a faulty flasher relay. If the hazard lights aren’t working you might have a blown the hazard light fuse (in fuse box under bonnet) and if the hazard light switch is on then the indicators won’t work. I was able to get to mine without removing any dash panels.

Where is the flasher unit on a Nissan?

I believe its located drivers side of the dash, behind the lower dash cover. I think this is it because there was a relay I had down there which I taped to the inside of the dash itself, and now the relay makes a more noticeable “tick” when the indicators are on. Anyone……help…..I have a had a look and I can’t find the pukn thing!

Where does the power from the flasher relay go?

Power is supplied via fuse 11, it runs through the hazard light switch then to the flasher relay. If the indicator fuse is OK then you more then likely have a faulty hazard light switch or a break in the wire harness between fuse 11 and hazard light switch.

How does the turn signal flasher on a Nissan club work?

The BCM performs the fast flasher operation (fail-safe) if any bulb or harness of the turn signal lamp circuit is open. NOTE: Turn signal lamp blinks at normal speed when using the hazard warning lamp.
