Why does my John Deere tractor keep blowing fuses?
If your John Deere L110 lawn tractor won’t start or if it tries to start but repeatedly blows fuses, the problem is likely a faulty starter or starter wires. If you can’t see anything when you check the wires, the problem may be internal to the starter. Remove the starter and have it tested by a John Deere dealer.
Why does my fuse holder keeps melting?
Cause: If the fuse itself has not blown, but the fuse holder melted, it indicates that the fuse holder was making poor contact with the fuse. If there is significant resistance in the contact between fuse and fuse holder, a current well below the fuse rating can cause enough heat to melt an inline fuse holder.
