When do you replace the front window regulators on a Jeep Commander?
I dont remember off hand but I will post a tech note that I have about certain build dates that if one window auto reverses then you are to replace both front window regulators and now flash the door modules. Grand Cherokee and Commander vehicles that were built between 2-12-2007 and 10-3-2007.

… I have a problem with my jeep patriot 2008, 3 weeks ago the ETC (electronic throttle control) and Traction Control light turn on and I lost engine power, It just ran idle. It can not go more than 2000 RPM. I turn it off and on and it was everything ok. Now it started again with the problem, but turning off an on does not solve the problem now.

They are experiencing something similar with having to adjust the way they drive due to lack if power and not so good tuning. It’s going to surge/buck regardless what you do because of lack of power and tunning.

It ended up being the fuel filter/pressure regulator that is part of the fuel sending unit that is mounted on top of the gas tank. I had almost the exact same problem with my 95 yj, it turned out to be the catalytic converter.

The jeep wouldn’t start back up anyways and the guys at the store were so sure based on all the vehicle’s symptoms that it was the ignition coil that I figured it’d be worth trying. I may’ve had to have the car towed otherwise since I didn’t know if it was going to restart at all.
