Why does my front door lock not work on my Nissan Juke?
So I have a couple symptoms on my 2011 Juke that are all related to the door lock system. 1) Lock/unlock buttons on the front door handles intermittently don’t work, 2) lights don’t flash when the car is locked/unlocked, 3) car attempts to lock several times when driving but then unlocks, 3) door ajar light flickers when all of the doors are shut.

Why is my driver door not locking or unlocking?
I found the problem!!!!!. I took the panel off and the metal cover that holds the window mech and found that the wires that go the the handle were not inserted in their clips (there are 2 of them) and they were hanging freely in the path of the mechanism which lead to them catching the glash and were torn off.
