Why did my navigation screen go black while driving?

I have had my brand new CR-V for about 2 months now. Yesterday while driving with the navigation on, the screen went black twice within 5 minutes. The navigation and radio (I was connected to Spotify through Apply Car Play) sounds were still working, but the touch screen was completely black.
