Why did my lexu RX 350 air suspension fail?
I took it into Lexu Swindon this morning as I am in the area, and they diagnosed a sensor has faile (front right). Upon working to replace it, they discovered that the sensor was barly attached to it metal plate as out of the two fixing things (I guess bolts) one was missing and the other fell ogff when touched.
Can a Lexus RX 350 go into normal mode?
The car goes into Normal mode and is fine to drive (according to the book and previous guidance from Lexus). Then Monday morning it decides to raise the car as high as possible, the rear especially. Quite a wierd thing to drive I can tell you.
Is the Lexus air suspension worth the money?
The air suspension seems to be frightfully complciated and rather too fragile, and I accpet it may offer a ‘better’ ride…but the compromise (worry?) of the air suspension wasn’t worth it for us. You may well get a good will contribution from Lexus, but still, I guess it wont be cheap to fix : (

245-horsepower 3.5L V6 Hybrid 6-speed shiftable CVT AWD Replaced right front strut and upper mount. Banging noise when right wheels go over bumpy surface at moderate speed. No repair done. Dealer wants to have regional specialist involved Banging noise when going over rough surfaces.

Found that the steering has a leaking gasket. Found that many Lexus’ of similar year having a similar problem at similar mileage. Am driving the car without the repair for now, but if the steering leaks then have the repair made. recall?? Steering linkage repair, seal, boot etc. Also water pump replaced due to leaking
