Why did my dashboard lights go out?

If it is grounding out it would cause the dash lights to fail. Disconnect all orange wires and report back. So i went and dug thru my new hu box and i remember they put a wire diagram in there for me. On mine it says that the Orange/Black isnt used. Is there a problem with my navigation lights?
I have a 2010 Suntracker 1 week old. The navigation lights nor anchor light will work. I get no lights from the navigation or anchor position on the toggle. The gauges do light up on the dash. Is it possible to have a bad switch? I need to fix this myself vs taking it back.
