Why are my air vents on my Jaguar XF not working?
I have a 2013 Jaguar XF 2.2D X250. About a week ago my air vents stopped opening so tried to investigate further to find the heater blower isnt working. Had an electrician come out to have a look and he bypassed the blower somehow and got it going but still didnt open the vents.
What’s the life of a Jaguar XF cooling fan?
I know that the usual life expectancy of a similar fan on a Rover 75 is 60,000 to 70,000 miles. Is this typical for Jaguar XF? So, if I get the cooling fan replaced / up and running will the air con spring back to life (assuming it is fully gassed and has no leaks?)
Why is the air con on my Jaguar not cooling?
Initially the problem was traced to a tiny hole in one of the pipes which was repaired, the system recharged and all seemed fine. However, with the recent warm weather the air con does not seem to be cooling again, in fact sometimes it actually blows warm air.

Where are the screws on the XF air vent?
On the bottom left of the vent is the second screw holding on the instrument panel fascia. Remove it, and release the fascia enough to reach the inner two screws that hold the vent assembly in place.
