Can you buy a hobbit stove in the US?
The Hobbit is a 4kW stove and it comes with a 5 year warranty when you register your stove with us. The lead time for any new orders for a Hobbit stove is currently 14-16 weeks.
Is The Hobbit stove Defra approved?
The Hobbit stove is available either as a standard version or the SE, DEFRA approved model. Our small stove continues to provide the unmistakable warmth and glow of a crackling fire, which sits at the heart of every home.
What size is the Hobbit stove?

The Salamander small stove is made in UK (and is called “Hobbit” there) from cast iron and is suitable for a wide range of applications and was designed especially to fit small spaces and fireplaces where other stoves just won’t fit.
Can I use existing chimney for wood burning stove?
You can only fit a wood burner in your fireplace if it has a class 1 chimney. It is very important that your wood burner is connected to the correct size flue or flue liner – if it isn’t, it will not only perform badly, but won’t be safe either. Most stoves of up to 20kW need a minimum of a 6” flue diameter.
