Where are the harpy nests Witcher 2?
Nest locations are just before first body of soldier, in front of you when you have to jump down and near the second dead soldier. If you accidentally kill all of the harpies in an area, you can leave and come back later to find that they have returned. When you have destroyed seven nests, that’s enough.

You need Cecil Burdon’s runic key to open the gate in the Old quarry and enter the Harpy lair. When you have destroyed all the nests, you obtain the Birdman skill, +10% damage to the harpies.

You can get this quest from the notice on the bulletin board next to the inn. It is helpful, but not necessary, to have read the book Harpies – Daughters of the Gale, which can be obtained in Chapter II from Felicia Cori at the market, after the gates are opened.
