Thanks, but both headlights share a single fuse in the Patriot. So if the fuse went, neither headlight would work. Unlike older cars where everything had it’s own fuse and independent mechanism, 95% of the Patriot is computer controlled. Technology…

When did the 2007 Patriot headlamp bulb fail?

Passenger headlamp for my 2007 Patriot just failed at 136,000km. New H13 bulb didn’t fix. 3 wires to the bulb, the middle is the ground. Measured the voltage on the bad passenger side and it was lower than that of the working driver side.

Where is the ground eyelet on a Jeep Patriot?

On the passenger side, there’s a ground eyelet secured to the frame near the bottom of the antifreeze reservoir. Take the bolt off, remove the eyelet and shine a light on it because it wasn’t obvious at first but the ground wires are all corroded on mine.
