Why does the running board not come out?
Mostly running board will not come out and when you close the door, you can hear the motor run to pull back in as if it were out. Let me know if you get a fix, mine is out of manufacture warranty, I have extended warranty but don’t know if it is covered. I have the same problem with both sides intermittently.

Why is my power running board not working?
Mine went absolutely bezerk one night, constantly extending / retracting until i pulled the fuse. it still kicks out on it’s own, but usually stays out (or goes in/out a couple times, then stops). The button to extend it to the tire also quit working… that was the first issue i had, then about 6 mo later, it developed a mind of it’s own.
