Why are the tail lights not turning off?
The tail lights turned on all by themselves and would not turn off. The car is seldom used (keeping it for my boys that will be driving soon) and was parked at the time. I tried pulling the fuse and that didn’t kill the lights.

Made no difference. Jaguar Mechanic: Richard, Jaguar Technician replied 11 years ago Ok make sure you did not accientally press the master lighting switch on the roof console. This is the center switch on the console.
Why do my tail lights stay on even after I Turn Off the car?
Thank Kevin. If the tail lights are illuminated even after you have used the on-off switch to command them off, that means the switch supplying power is fused shut and/or the circuit is being powered when it is not supposed to be due to a wiring fault.
