First clutch I ever did was on my l200. It’s very simple if ur ok with spanners. And don’t forget to get a litre of gear box oil as some usually dribbles out the back when you remove the prop shaft. Also make sure the clutch plate goes on the same way the old came off. Not sure on your 2.5 but some only go on one way.

What to do if your clutch is not aligned?
If it’s not aligned you won’t get the gearbox back on. That’s all it’s for. You can use a socket extension bar with the right sized socket on as an alignment tool. Spigot bearing will come out with out taking the fly wheel off. Can use the toilet paper grease method if you want. Better still would be a blind bearing puller if u can borrow one.
