NGK 6994, laser iridium are the OEM spec, dont forget to gap them, and no they are not pre gapped, all plugs need to be checked, unless its a dual prong or weirder setup electrode, dont quote me as im going from memory but I think the gap us suppose to be 0.039″ to 0.043″ Click to expand… RockAuto says their gap size is already at 0.044″.
Is there a gap in the Iridium plugs?
When I put in the Iridium plugs a few weeks ago, the factory-installed plugs are pulled did have a wider gap, but don’t worry about that. My car is running perfectly with the new plugs, even if the gap is narrower. Anyway, .030 isn’t that narrow of a gap. I’d check the gaps at least to confirm they’re to spec, which they probably are.
