What is Tivar eco plate?
UHMW TIVAR® ECO is plastic material suitable for machinery components, wear plates and guides. Depending on the application, UHMW ECO has an overall lower mechanical strength (90%) than the virgin TIVAR® 1000. This grade, partially composed of reprocessed PE-UHMW material can be machined easily.
Is Tivar 1000 UHMW?
TIVAR® 1000 UHMW sets the standard for engineered polymers with a unique combination of wear and corrosion resistance, low friction surface and impact strength. TIVAR® 1000 is resistant to chemical attack and moisture absorption, and retains key physical properties to -30°C.
What is Tivar hot?
Other sizes are available on request. It can also be extruded in a variety of standard and custom profiles. Extruded Rods have a Minimum Order Quantity based on Diameter, & 6-8 Week Lead-Time.
What is TIVAR material?
TIVAR® Ceram P is composed of virgin polymer and premium additives, making it a shatter-resistant alternative to ceramics and is noted for its dimensional stability. It is suited for high-speed, high-load, and sliding-abrasion applications and can outwear AR steel, virgin UHMW, and other materials.
What is Tivar 88?
Tivar® 88 is a premium lining material for bulk handling. Tivar® 88 is noted for its performance in promoting bulk solids flow of cohesive or non-free flowing materials due to its low surface friction.
Can you injection mold UHMW?
UHMW-PE cannot be transformed and molded by conventional plastic processing techniques (injection molding, blow molding or thermoforming). Compression molding is the most common conversion process used with this resin because it produces a stronger, more consistent product.

What temp does nylon melt?
515.9°F (268.8°C)
Nylon 66/Melting point
Is Tivar anti static?
TIVAR® ESD is an ideal material to use when potentially volatile conditions exist, such as those in grain elevators and munitions plants, effectively safeguarding against static discharges.
Is Tivar 88 glass filled?
is a cross linked and glass filled UHMW-PE material that has been modified to enhanced wear resistance for applications where abrasion is a significant factor. TIVAR® 88 has been an industry standard for over forty years in bulk material handling.
What Tivar 1000?
Does UHMW swell?
Water absorption rate of UHMW is almost zero, therefore its strength does not deteriorate due to swelling caused by water absorption.
