Honda will offer every shim size within .001mm increments…but most aftermarket shim kits…will only offer sizes within every .005mm… which is roughly .002″…. so you cannot be quite as accurate using an aftermarket shim kit…such as the value priced Hotcams kit…but you can bring them w/in tolerance….
