What happens at the end of Silverwing?
The colony decide to go in search of Shade’s father, Cassiel. Chinook, another juvenile of Shade’s age, volunteers to help. They plan to go after hibernating, but Shade wishes to go now. The story ends with Shade starting to fall asleep, with Marina and Shade’s mother Ariel beside him.
When did the TV series Silverwing come out?
Silverwing was commissioned by and first aired on Teletoon in Canada in fall 2003. In the United States, the series was shown on Toon Disney ‘s Jetix block in autumn 2005, with Jetix later airing the show internationally. The full series has been released on DVD in the US and the UK.
