How do you ship a cat to another state?
You have several options for transporting your cat: shipping cats by air, you can drive it yourself, or use a cat transporter. Hiring a cat transporter to ship your cat is perfect if you cannot bring your cat with you or simply don’t have the time to arrange transportation yourself.
How do you transport a cat long distance in a car?

How do you transport a cat in a car without a carrier?

Most cats will be fine in carriers for up to 8 hours. Others might need a little more care and you may have to factor in a break every 2-3 hours. Some owners have no choice but to keep their cats inside a crate for 10 hours or more.
How do you carry a cat in a car?
Ensure the car is a similar temperature to your home (i.e. not very cold or very hot) which will make it more comfortable for your cat to be in. Ideally place the cat on a seat and wrap the seat belt around the carrier, threading it through the handle, so that it can be fastened in place.
