We purchased a 2007 Mazda 3 Sport in August 2018. Had to replace the battery about a year later so the battery is good. My daughter drove the car to join us for dinner and when she went to leave, the car would not recognized the key. We left it set overnight and I tried it again early the next morning – still didn’t recognize the key.
