In the manga, Soushi is killed while trying to protect Ririchiyo from evil youkai. When he is reincarnated, he does not remember anything from his past life, including Ririchiyo. At the end of the series, it is confirmed that Ririchiyo and Soushi have a child predicted by Natsume.

The animation was also good, though some scenes were a bit sloppy. I would have liked to see some cool fights since they’re monsters and what not, but it’s whatever now. Overall, the series is quite good, humor and romance are what drives the series. Worth a watch, but not as a priority.
