What happened to Kneissl skis?
Ski racer Karl Schranz made the Kneissl White Star skis one of the most sought after in the world. In the seventies, the company expanded into cross-country ski and tennis racquet production. In 1980, Kneissl went bankrupt and was bought out by German cross-country ski manufacturer Trak, as sole owner.

Are Kneissl skis good?
Its perfectly developed waist allows it to perform convincingly on groomed slopes as well as on spring snow or open terrain. It is forgiving and easy to control, yet when used with the proper technique, its race carver genes shine through. It’s a piste / all mountain ski that is nice and versatile in all conditions.
Are white snow pants a bad idea?
Nope, they won’t ever get dirty. It’s scientifically impossible as snow is white. All I’m going to say is that I find it hilarious people have no problem buying yellow/orange/lime green/ light blue snow pants where dirt shows up JUST as easily, yet everyone seems to freak out as soon as they want to buy white pants.

Can you ski in leggings?
You don’t need a ski-specific base layer, any comfortable, wicking long sleeve athletic top and tights will work. The big thing to avoid with base layers is cotton. Cotton doesn’t wick moisture away from you, instead it just lets that moisture sit on your skin and make you cold.
Should you wear white when skiing?
If you look good in white, why not? Just be aware that it will get dirty pretty quickly. Not so much from the skiing, but if you ever sit on a chairlift with dirt on it, or if you walk a little too close to your dirty car in the parking lot, then white is very hard to keep clean.
