What does service electronic parking brake warning mean?
Service electronic parking brake warning? Anyone had this issue? On top of all my other issues I am now getting a warning intermittently that says “Service electronic parking brake” My wife just told me this happened on our Renegade this morning.
Why does my service electric brake system come on?
So I just swapped out my wheel hub assembly on the drivers side and it’s still doing exactly the same problem, weird grinding sound, service electric brake system, TC and abs lights come on. You’re saying the grinding is the abs kicking in?
Why does my electric brake keep popping up?
Grinding while braking would lead me to believe it is brake related maybe a rock stuck in the caliper or similar… could be wrong but that would be the place to start for me. Alrighty well I appreciate the advice hopefully it won’t pop up again.. 2005Jeep GC. Lauredo

I spoke to a mechanic about it, who owns a Jeep and says that it’s common for Jeeps to throw this code when you have erratic braking or brake hard but it wasn’t an issue if it didn’t stay on and wasn’t throwing any codes.
What does a service electric brake system warning mean?
The light is an indicator that something is wrong with the ABS system. Ive had the code pulled and says I have a fault ABS sensor on one of my hubs. Sensor are cheap/easy to replace I’ve just never gotten around to it :/ I mean cars never used to have ABS so I figure I may as well see what the “good ole’ days” were like haha

ABS Light, TC Light, Service 4wd light, and Service Electronic Brake System Light. Not having the drive and 3 problem thought. Engine almost stalled when these lights came on. Any help is appreciated. Runs and idles strong now. My Jeep is a 2005 Jeep WK 5.7 Completely stock.
