Removal – 1) On XJ6 and XJ12, disconnect battery and remove air cleaner. On all models, disconnect and plug master cylinder lines. Pry vacuum hose from power unit. Remove fluid reservoir. 2) On XJS models, swing pedal box bracket into vertical position. Remove 4 pedal box mounting nuts. Slide off master cylinder.
