Transmission Warning Light It’s normal for your check engine light to go one in the event of an issue with your car. From a loose gas cap to a mechanical issue, your warning light system is letting you know somethings up.
When does the transmission light come on in a car?
Your transmission light will come on when the complex set of sensors in the cars computer tells it that something is operating out of spec. Sometimes it’ll give a false positive and trigger the light. I don’t recommend ignoring it. You don’t want to end up stuck somewhere when the transmission inevitably gives out.

In fact, most cars produced since 2012 included these warning lights as an advance warning system. Not every vehicle uses a specific transmission warning light to alert you to a problem with your transmission. By that we mean there isn’t a dedicated transmission light in every vehicle.
Why are the lights on my dashboard not working?
Adjust the dial or knob to see if that fixes the problem. If the switch was accidentally bumped, your dashboard lights might have been turned off. Flip the switch or turn the dial or knob up and see if the lights on your dash come on or get brighter. If adjusting the switch doesn’t work, you may have a blown fuse or bad lightbulb.

Bearings – Noise comes in at low shaft speeds in any position. It is caused by bearings with damaged balls or rollers, or with pitted and spalled raceways. Cracked Gear – A gear cracked or broken by shock loading or by pressing on shaft during installation will produce this sound at low speeds.
