Those “gem” threads answered it perfectly. Relay is above the spare tire. My 6.2 is strong and sexy, but it still needs help sucking it’s own gass. Lol It’s crazy how GM can make (what seems to me) pretty major mods by adding relays here and deleting fuses there, but forgetting to update the manual and fuse box diagram.

The ECM activates the fuel pump for several seconds after the ignition switch is turned on to improve engine startability. If the ECM receives a engine speed signal from the crankshaft position sensor (POS) and camshaft position sensor (PHASE), it knows that the engine is rotating, and causes the pump to operate.
