Is the swing brake on my excavator working?
I have a 320c excavator… I have a 320c excavator, im having trouble with the swing brake , or atleast i think its that. the swing brake grabs somtimes when swinging left or right but doesnt grab completely, just shudders.
Why does my prolux swing brake not release?
The leaking hand controllers cannot cause a problem in the swing brake. Maybe you better explain some more about what is going wrong. Shifting the prolux swing releases the swing brake all the time unless you set it on the panel. Most of the time people shift that swing and forget they did it.

This would indicate the pressure switches are the source of the problem. These pressure switches are located on the main control valve and send a signal to the ecm to raise throttle and release the parking brake. I would replace them both just to be safe.
Where are the brake switches on a 320C excavator?
Fine swing or swing brake switch would be with the other switches on the right side console. It is not common on the 320 model. thanks will order pressure switches tomorrow , then get back to you with results. Not sure where these pressure switches are. Could you please give me a little more detail as to where to find them?

A Komatsu PC78 have a swing brake problem while its is keyon or arms-in back to netural on handle. We eliminlated all hydraulic related failure. The brake solenoid was received a release singal from the controller for 5sec. Does any one have the same issues? We sent to the dealer shop they claimed this is normal!
