Is the odometer on my Jeep Cherokee inoperable?
When I stated back up, the odometer flashes,AC controls inoperable, radio controls inoperable, start-stop function inoperable. Nothing mentioned in manual about this condition. I have to drive home 730 miles hopefully it doesn’t cause the vehicle to completely shut down. Will be interesting to see what service tells me.
Why does my radio and door locks not work?
Out of the clear blue my radio does not power up, my door locks will not respond to the remote and my door and cargo dome lights have no power to them? Anyone had the same problem? I am having the exact same problem on my 2002 escape, however, this happened after it sat for a long time and I had to change the battery.
Why does my Ford Expedition radio not work?
I am having the same issue with my 2003 Ford expedition and the radio is not working and the power windows do not work also I continuously here a clicking sound that sounds like the door are locking or unlocking but it is not actually locking or unlocking would replacing the fuse fix my issues 42 people found this helpful.
Are there any flickering lights on the odometer?
The only lights flickering were the odo, trip, and radio from what i seen while it lasted (maybe 10 sec) and it stopped. I turned the car off waited a few started it back up, turned on every acc possible and it was fine. I checked the battery, alt, all the fuses and relays and reset the pcm and everything has the right voltage and looks normal.

2005 LJ – Similar problem. Factory Radio would “pop“ and turn off then dash lights and radio lights would flicker. Happened over and over again. After reading this thread popped hood. Checked battery with multimeter and it was good. Started engine and alternator charge function was good.

It is a 2005 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.7 4×4. Thanks in advance. Do the headlights flicker aswell? If so, its a multifunction switch. If the headlights do not flicker, i’d be looking at a battery or altrenator.
