Is the ABS light still on after service 4WD?
But the Dealer replaced the ABS Module. And it still happens?…… For the past several weeks my abs light in the lower right side of the instrument cluster has been on. Might go out a day but comes back on. Also started up a couple of weeks ago and service 4wd light came on and stayed on for the day.

Hello – mostly likely, a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor or other ABS sensor is causing these symptoms. ABS, traction control and auto-engaging 4WD are integrated systems, and share sensors. A malfunction in one system can bleed over to the other systems.
Is the ABS and slip light on the same time?
My VDC Off, the Slip light & ABS are all on plus t times the 4WD will come on & then where the logo light for when your in 2WD/auto/4WD, that little light will disappear. I sooooo don’t want to have to take it to the dealer to get fixed. I don’t have another Nissan dealer even close and the 1 here sucks.

After a few months of ownership, I started having the ‘service 4wd’ light blink on for a few seconds at random times. The dealer flashed the TSB concerning the problem and it went away. A few weeks ago the light started coming on again, concurrently with the ‘traction control off’ light.

Warning lights ABS, 4WD, ESP,and TRACTION CONTROL all came on at one time. I just took my 2008 Jeep Patriot in the dealership TODAY for this. The lights have been on for a while but I finally took it in, assuming it was a sensor or something. WOW!!!! They said it would be over $1,000 for the repair and it was a ABS Pump and Module system.
Why does my liberty have a 4WD light?
Assuming the Liberty was in 2wd, if I set the transfer case switch to 4wd BEFORE starting the engine, the 4WD “engaged” display would show, and 4WD traction would operate. If I shut off the engine and reset the switch to 2WD, then started it again, the 4WD display would extinguish, and 2WD traction would operate.
