Is it normal to have 400 ish RPMs?
I was told 400 ish rpms around 50 was normal. With cruise it doesn’t really seem to do it but just using the pedal does… Click to expand… Only if your TC is unlocked, which at 50 it should not be unless you’re towing or accelerating or going fast up a steep incline or something…

A TPS is also possible, but I bet it’s just worn with knowing you’ve had it eight year’s and it’s high mileage. The 4.2 has plenty of power to stay locked at 50 – 60 mph, even with the car full of family & stuff and even on slight inclines.

Do you have to maintain 50 mph in Regen mode?
So all I know about the regen process, I have heard from friends or read online. I was under the impression that the trucks had to maintain at least 50 mph during the regen process to be functional. I love having the gauge in the instrument cluster that show the level of the DPF, as well as when it is actively in regen mode.
