Is Athearn of good quality?
Athearn/Genesis – chassis good but on average not quite as good as KATO or Rapito. But Athearn, mainlyl Genesis is very good in terms of overall high level of detail. Generally good runners but RTR motors vary – older chassis were often coffee grinders, past 10 years RTR has improved and are pretty good as a rule.
