What’s the serial number on a Mercedes transfer case?

Following up my original question regarding the Transfer case problem, I learned that this problem was identified by Mercedes as a “Recall and Service ” campaign. The serial number on the transfer case is(NNN) NNN-NNNN The transfer cases involved carry serial numbers between 115925 and 137342. My unit falls in between these numbers.
