How to change transmission and filter in a GMC Yukon?
Open the hood of the Yukon, and find the yellow transmission dipstick above the drain pan. Pull it out, and place a funnel into the tube. Pour in four quarts of transmission fluid. Unfortunately- HUGE. The Bearings sell for around $75 for the set, and the labor time guide calls for 21.2 hours to complete the job. The oil pump sells for around $137 and there should be no extra labor, as this will need to be removed to gain access to the bearings.
