I did tie a chip out of a key to my receiver in my sable for the remote start but it was a pain to make work. If it works why bypass it? Because I have a worn out ignition and broken door lock and don’t want to pay to have all the programming done. Also the factor of busting the key while hunting/ working and being stranded…
