How does the tach work on a TCI?
The TACH reads the fire pulse from the TCI to the REAR coil (via the GREY wire from the TCI to the rear coil). That GREY wire splits somewhere under the gas tank. If the tach senses an over-rev it GROUNDS the Yellow/Black wire to the TCI. The TCI kills the front cyclinder coil pulse.
How does a TCI ignition system work on a motorcycle?
TCI (Transistor Controlled Igniter) System When the transistor is ON, current passes through the primary side of the ignition coil (coil hereinafter) from the battery to store the energy.
How does a CDI and TCI system work?
TCI circuit structure CDI (Capacitor Discharge Igniter) The capacitor is charged via a direct connection with voltage from the ACG or the battery, or the voltage is increased to charge the capacitor.
What are the base settings for the EZ-TCU transmission controller?
After the TPS is set, the base settings are done, and shutting off the ignition and EZ-TCU will save your tune. We noticed with some settings, the numbers didn’t start at the same point as others, this is a failsafe for the controller.
How does a TCI control unit work on a handheld?
HANDHELD This connects to the communications cable the links the main wiring harness to the handheld user interface. SPEEDOMETER CONTROL UNIT This connects to an optional TCI® Speedometer Control Unit (SCU). An SCU uses an electric motor to spin a special speedometer cable to drive a mechanical speedometer. 5
TCI (Transistor Controlled Igniter) System When the transistor is ON, current passes through the primary side of the ignition coil (coil hereinafter) from the battery to store the energy.
How does the EZ-TCU Transmission Control Unit work?
The EZ-TCU™ is fully configured and ready to run right out of the box – no tuning necessary. But for those who demand customization, the unit is also optionally fully programmable based on load, speed and RPM. Completely intuitive programming interface or optional fully programmable based on load, speed and RPM
What can you do with a TCI program?
Former students remember the creative opportunities to act out important historical events and gain perspective beyond reading a book or watching a video allows. TCI affords students the opportunity to inquire, role play, debate, question, and craft their own learning in a meaningful way.
