How do you turn off the seatbelt chime on a 2019 Honda CRV?
1 Sit in the driver’s seat and shut all the doors. 2 Put the key into the ignition and fasten your safety belt. Turn the vehicle to the “on” position, but don’t start the engine. Wait for the safety belt light to turn off on the instrument panel.
Is there a way to stop the seat belt beeping?
MY guess it that the Yellow conduit double wire is for an air bag, Im not sure if the single wire is for a pre tensioner (Im sure these dont need a signal and are inertia triggered) or if it is the seatbelt is fitted sensor. Please realise this is a question on how to stop the beeping not asking for advice on if a seatbelt is required or not.
How do you replace a seat belt cover?
You’ll need a set of security Torx bits and two very small zip ties. Remove the cover from the seat belt buckle, two Torx bolts each. There is a switch that will close when the seat belt is fastened. Use the zip tie to close that switch full time. Replace the cover. Do the other side. You’ll never hear that chime again.
