How do you change a lightbulb in a Sub Zero?
Pull the diffuser outward to remove it. Remove the old bulb at the top of the drawer compartment by twisting counterclockwise. Replace with a new 25-watt appliance bulb by twisting it clockwise to lock in place. Return the light diffuser to its place by pushing it down in its slots.
Where is the light in a Sub Zero refrigerator?
In all models except 501 and 601, the light switch is mounted to the top mainframe. In models 501 and 601, the switch is mounted to the bottom mainframe above the unit grille.
Can I use an appliance bulb in a lamp?
LED bulbs should never be used in an oven. If you really want to, you can use an appliance bulb in a standard lamp, but since they are more expensive and less eficient, there’s no benefit in doing so.

- To remove, press the center of the front tabs up and push the diffuser toward the back wall. Refer to the image below. There are two tabs, one each on the left and right.
- Drop the front edge of the diffuser down slightly.
- Pull diffuser forward out of the appliance.
Why is my Subzero fridge light off?
Make sure the door was not left open for an extended period of time. If it was, the light terminator feature can turn on and turn off the lights. See Light Terminators for more information, including steps to reset. If possible, test light bulbs in another light fixture.

The lights will stay off for 45 minutes after the door is closed, and all evaporator fans will run with the door or drawer open. Close the door without opening it for 45 minutes, or bypass the 45 minute wait by powering the unit off either at the breaker or unplugging it and turning back on.
Can I put any light bulb in the fridge?
You can use a regular light bulb in a refrigerator if it fits, but it is not smart to do so. There are bulbs specially made for refrigerators and these appliance bulbs handle lower temperatures better than standard bulbs and, they are often shatterproof too.
