Here are eleven tips to help you paint perfect lines.
- Use an Angled Brush. If you are going to try to paint a straight line with just a brush, be sure that it is an angled brush.
- Don’t Put Too Much Paint on the Brush.
- Draw the Lines.
- Use an Edger.
- Keep the Edge Clean.
- Use a Painter’s Shield.
- Use Painter’s Tape.
- Let Paint Dry.
Is paint pad better than roller?
Paint pads give good coverage and a smooth, even finish. They are much cleaner to use than rollers, as there is no spray. They do need reloading more often than rollers, but they still do the job quickly. Because of the smooth finish they give, paint pads are particularly good for ceilings.

What’s the difference between Shur pro and PRO premium?
The differences are that the Pro Premium has a quick pad release button on the handle for true one finger removal. The rubber edged handle will rotate a full 180 degrees for better ergonomics. But, who knows, I haven’t tried the Pro Premium, so I can’t say for sure if I’d like it better.
